I don't remember. I was too distracted by being amused at my own wit. Hey, no one else laughs at my jokes so I figure I've gotta do it myself.
I think you're funny. I just can't figure which part of the above is the joke.
I'm guessing it's the "went to the well" part.
C'mon, you two. I can't tell if you really need an explanation or if you're just funnin' me. "Going to the well one too many times" is an overused metaphor. Going to the well for a metaphor just tickles the ol' funny bone.

I've been musing over this for weeks & figured it out before you put the "answer" in print. But it was a fun puzzle all the same.
I bet you are a whiz at Suduko or whatever it is called.
WW: I'm too embarrassed to admit my Sudoku skills. That would acknowledge how much time I have spent on that useless pursuit. It isn't fun - it's more obsessive-compulsive.
